Asbestos maintenance and removal can be a hazardous undertaking with inherent risks for both property users and general public as a result of exposure to microscopic airborne asbestos fibres. Exposure to asbestos can lead to life-threatening illnesses such as lung cancer, mesothelioma and asbestosis. It is therefore paramount that property owners ensure all reasonable measures have been taken to safeguard both property users and the general public from any exposure to asbestos whilst working with materials containing asbestos. Thankfully, well-established protocols, practices and legislation are now in place in many countries to ensure that asbestos and asbestos containing materials (ACMs) are managed and removed safely reducing the risk of exposure. We undertake removal of materials containing asbestos according to correct asbestos removal protocols to minimize any risk.
